Local produce and craft market is a feast for the senses

The delicious smell of bacon sandwiches certainly tempted people to come through the doors of the parish hall for November’s local produce and craft market. For those organised people who had already made a start on their Christmas shopping there were plenty of gifts to choose from among the craft stalls – everything from delicate glasswork to herbal and fruit teas – all packaged ready for Christmas. For everyone else, it was simply lovely to come in from the cold and enjoy some of the delicious produce on offer, whether it was artisan cheeses, stunning cakes, fresh-baked bread or the very tempting pies.

The market will be running once again on Saturday 16 December, so if you are still seeking Christmas gift inspiration why not pop in and check it out for yourself.
